Where to find these "geekhack" keycaps
« on: Sun, 17 March 2013, 19:03:54 »
I realise there is a wiki page about this but it confuses me :( can anyone tell me where these geekhack keycaps came from

In the novelty keys
http://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=34852.0

I know about the QWERKeys on but the rest?

Cheers if I'm being stupid.
unless they have some unforeseeable downside (like they're actually made of cream cheese cunningly disguised as ABS)

Which ones do you want?

I have a black-on-green Riddler "?", and 3 of the red-on-white "geekhack" if you want to buy them.

Sorry I meant the ones with the words "GeekHack" on

The red on white GH caps are from Keypop.net. I think the green on blue and the black on yellow  were from the old monthly GH groupbuys. I got a black on yellow from a bro but I'm not sure how else you can get them.

I have the red-on-white ones that say "GeekHack", and I can sell them to the OP for $2 each, if he wants them.

As for the others, contact Mashby, he's a collector of geekhack 'caps, and would know more about them than just about anybody else.  He might have extras, I dunno.

There used to be regular buys for those on a monthlyish basis in various color combinations. Many full set buys also had them included to match the set colors. There are quite a lot of different ones floating about.

There's a Wiki entry at this link and it lists all the information I've been able to gather about where they've come from. There are links to where you can buy the ones still available in the list. The rest you have to gather from the Classifieds section of the forum.

Here's my list of caps that I'm looking to trade for those that I don't have.

Hope that helps!

I think that is one of the prototypes of the IMSTO PBT Dye Sub. Not a lot of those.
