Custom Keyboard Cables and More (Questions)
« on: Tue, 19 March 2013, 11:04:57 »
My keyboard cable is too short and I'd like to purchase a new one, but custom. The services offered in the vendor forums don't seem to be active.

Also, I didn't want to create an additional thread about this, but I received a "red" WASD enter key but the reason I am using quotes is because it was really like orange. Anyone have a double shot or PBT true red or blood red enter key for sale? Or know where I can pick one up?

Check out Mimic Cables. I think they just opened their website.

If you have a soldering iron, you can make your own sleeved cables pretty easily and at a fraction of the cost.  The total materials cost shouldn't be more than $15-20 and you'll have enough left over for additional cables.

Have you checked out Signature Plastics and their PimpMyKeyboard site?  http://www.pimpmykeyboard.com/marketplace.php

Mimic, Pexon, and Whiskerbox all make cables. They can be found in the classifieds and vendor forums here.
