I got inspired to try modding some of the obscure older keycaps I've accumulated, and intend to try following Ripster's cap mod guide. However, I need some Cherry MX switch stems (for the modding jig) and actual Cherry
stems to cement into the non-compatible caps.
Anyone have a baggie or two of crappy old, scratched, pad-printed Cherry keycaps I can buy? Ideally 100-150, to account for the ones I will undoubtedly destroy while trying to cut off the upper cap material. And 20-50 switch stems as well? These will be used to hold the keycaps/stems while being glued together. I don't need the whole switch, just the innards.
Look, a chance to clean out that junk drawer you've been dumping all the old crap into! Spring cleaning! And have someone pay you for it, too!
