And guess what, i found someone is selling hundreds of old keyboards..some of them was brand new looking...some of them wasn't...The guy who sells them said they are all working..he doesn't know anything about keyboards tho :) I saw like 15 Ibm Model M's(didn't look brand new but some of them was very clean)..Some Silicon Graphics keyboards..bunch of Apple..Cherry..Chicony and some HP and IBM's which i don't know what model they are..And the good news is, they are all $5 :) I couldn't buy anything but next week i'll go and grab few of them...He said he'll be there in the same spot next week so i'll also shoot some photos...maybe there will be something you guys also be interested.

You will need a cargo container to fill with all the keyboards for the voyage home.
I hope there is some interesting Cherry G80/G81 in doubleshot or dyesub in language I don't have.

If you bought all of them and sold them to us you'd be a billionaire.

If I were you, I would make a relation with the guy as soon as possible, to let him know that you are interested. Get his contact information and let him get yours.

There is nothing more aggravating has coming back to a store a couple of days later to buy something to see that it is no longer available.

Oh man, this is an awesome story.  I can just imagine this pile of keyboards in a Turkish Bazaar, sitting next to the spice dealer.  Awesome, simply awesome.   I love Turkey, btw.  And since you're Turkish, I don't have to tell you how to negotiate, because it's part of you culture.  So my advice is to go back and try to buy the whole lot, but don't let on that you think they might be valuable, and try to get the seller down to like $1 per keyboard.  Then take them home, clean them up, and resell them to us.  If you feel nervous about recouping your investment, try to get as many pictures of the keyboards as possible, and post them here.  There are enough experts here who will tell you exactly what's in that pile of keyboards, if you give them photo's with enough detail.  So make sure you have lots of good light.  And take a camera better than a cell phone.  Be forewarned that you may have a pile of crappy rubber-domed keyboard too, so be careful.

I think he has no idea what they worth...To him, they are just old keyboards :) I guess you were in Turkey and visit the good old famous Grand Bazaar? :) Imagine a shop in the bazaar with a mountain of old keyboards, some old apple computers, commodores, ataris.. and a little old fella smoking his cigarette and smiling to you and offers you a tea.. :)
And let me tell you something more interesting, i have never met any Turkish person with any real knowledge about keyboards, or how worthy they are..I'm sure there are only 100 people in the whole country knows the difference between rubber and mechanical :)
I think i will bring my Filco key cap remover with me next week..i can't go before cause it's a bazaar open only in Sundays. Sure there were some rubber keyboards, they were also $5, same as model M's...But that is a good idea, i can tell the guy that i'm going to use them in an orphanage with lots of old computers, and i'll ask him to lower the price..like $3-4 each..By the way, i typed bunch of those keyboards, like 7-8 of them and they were mechanical..not rubber..there was a little Cherry, clicky..and it was so cute :P and old. Maybe i should buy them all...

Probably, any you don't like you could sell for a pretty decent profit as long as they are mechanical :D

how much is international shipping from turkey?
(...)Whereas back then I wrote about the tyranny of the majority, today I'd combine that with the tyranny of the minorities. These days, you have to be careful of both. They both want to control you. The first group, by making you do the same thing over and over again. The second group is indicated by the letters I get from the Vassar girls who want me to put more women's lib in The Martian Chronicles, or from blacks who want more black people in Dandelion Wine.
I say to both bunches, Whether you're a majority or minority, bug off! To hell with anybody who wants to tell me what to write. Their society breaks down into subsections of minorities who then, in effect, burn books by banning them. All this political correctness that's rampant on campuses is b.s.
