Small Neoprene Cases
« on: Wed, 24 April 2013, 01:18:07 »
I came across these cases made for Apple Aluminum keyboards when trying to find smaller sleeves/cases for my HHKB. Maybe these could possibly fit common 60% boards..

I just picked one up, hoping that it's not $9 lost.. looking forward to seeing how it is when it arrives in a couple weeks.

I really don't think so... Good luck though.

It might fit. The KBC Poker is only about 1" longer, but it is thicker.  :(

Thank you for taking the plunge to test it though! Please let us know if it fits, because I'd probably get one too!

I use one made by www.sfbags.com for my Poker, that I bought for $17 with shipping:

Any chance you have a photo of what it looks like when your Poker is in the sleeve?

It fits a bit loose, if you do not mind that is OK. Also, as someone pointed before, an actual protection for a board is a rigid roof, so I am planning to make a cardboard roof to put over the keys and then get both inside this sleeve, it has room to do just that, so it will be a very safe way to carry the Poker with me, that I do all the time.

I just received it today. For $9, it's actually pretty nice.

It'll peek out a tiny bit since it's a little tight (though it'd be more pronounced and the keys would be exposed if you inserted it in the other way). I'm sure I could come up with a way to pin it down if I really wanted to.
