Brown thick PBT modifiers
« on: Tue, 14 May 2013, 15:09:11 »
Is there such a thing as brown (or some shade of dark beige) for thick PBT modifier keys?

I am not shy to try dying keys with RIT or Dylon, but I've seen some mixed success results mentioned on-line.  Like keys being dyed unevenly, imperfections showing up as stress marks, etc.

I'd love a set, even if incomplete: things like the Enter keys, Shift, Ctrl, etc.

Reply #14 in this thread is very good. PBT will stand up to boiling, so you can get a good soak.

Do be sure that you clean the keys very well, especially for any kind of grease.
