I keep getting an error when I try to log onto the IRC... freenode isn't working at all.

Freenode had a large network DDoS over the weekend. Try using an actual client if you're really needing to get on the IRC.

Just FYI, I wouldn't trust this resource 100% unless its a link that doesn't contain parameters...  But yes it seems that it is down for me too (granted I never connected to it but once, but am a bit curious)

Used to be a kind of a joke channel for a bunch of us who played Aion together and was e-dating someone from game. None of them ended up lasting though and people stopped using irc so it's just a channel for me and my bf so I can conveniently talk to him while he's at work.
