I recently discovered this forum as well as an interest in keyboards. I'm not sure why it took so long. I've been using keyboards for the past 26 years, but only recently seem to have found joy in discovering a good keyboard. I started out with a Unicomp buckling spring keyboard about 4 years ago. It was an enjoyable experience, but the buckling springs were a little too resistant for me, although that took me 4 years to think realize.
So a few weeks ago, I bought a DAS keyboard Ultimate. I know many wouldn't consider it near the top of the scale in this forum, but it introduced me to the Cherry MX blue switches which I really enjoy (I haven't had the pleasure of testing all the colors). This week, I decided I needed another keyboard to replace my work keyboard and ordered a Ducky DK9087 G2 Pro (also with blue switches) that I received yesterday.
Both keyboards are great, although at this point, I don't enjoy the Cherry stabilizers as much, but that sentiment may change as I break in the keyboard.
Even though I just received my Ducky, I have been looking around at other keyboards and, right now, dream about owning a KMAC one day.
Nice to meet you all!
