You can't quickly swap out the battery if it dies in a keyboard like the diNovo Edge
My diNovoEdge is 5 years old and still works fine. You can replace the battery, but as you noted, it is a bit of a PITA.
What I meant was that if you run out of power, you can quickly put in another set of AA batteries, unlike the diNovo where you need to plug it in for charging.
I've always had issues with Logitech devices that have rechargeable batteries in them, with the charge lasting significantly less than it should after only a few months of use. I'd much rather rely on standard AA Eneloops than a rechargable battery built into the device.
