well thats just dumb, and who knows whether he's being honest in his PM's, i offered him 45 GBP and oh-so-conveniently someone else offered 45 as well, but he would ONLY take 50. It just seems suspicious to me

Why is that dumb? If I like the person that is looking to buy my stuff then I cut them a deal, if I don't then I won't reduce the price.

It is his keycap so he can do whatever he wants with it, if you don't like it then leave the thread.

Why is a CC different to any other asset?

Do they have magical fairy properties?

Are they in some way enriched with the urine of gods?

Are they the new staple currency, the US mint is disgusted by the fluctuations in the price of gold and has declared that CC's have a definitive value?

And that's why I hate private auctions and private offers and was disgusted when DanGWanG went all hypocritical and decided to sell off his stuff privately after bashing it.

Just put a price in the OP that you're looking for and say if I like you, I might sell for less. That or be transparent and do it in the open.

I think some people are just wary of PM auctions because who's to say that you get the bids you say you did? It also makes it much harder to price parts in the market and can result in some people getting taken advantage of, be they buyer or seller.

I think that covers it.
