I'll be visiting Shanghai, Beijing, Hong Kong and Bangalore India shortly.
Wondering if there are some must-visit shops I should check out.

I looked at Ripsters China Shopping Guide and my Hong Kong hotel will be 5km away from "Keyboard Hell" so I might check that out.

Heard about keyboard hell. They have a youtube page as well. Looks like they stock some pretty cool boards. Defo worth a visit.

I went to Keyboard Hell. It's a very small place, and it was hard for me to find because the whole "first floor" thing confused me, but they sell some pretty cool stuff. Last time I went there they still had those elusive Realforce numberpads, you should pick one up if they still do.

The owner is also on GH, but he doesn't post very frequently and I forget his screen name.

I'll do my best to get to Keyboard Hell since I'll be so close and I like supporting shops like that.  My garage has been referred to as a "Keyboard Store" but I've never actually been to one.

Honestly the ultimate find for me would be some blank Topre caps for my white Realforce 87u's but I won't get my hopes up.  If there's a good MX keyboard and some nice PBT or thick doubleshot caps I'll probably pick up a board or two.  But you never know what you'll find in shops like that.

I just went to Hong Kong and checked out some computer stores. My favorite one was in the Wan Chai Computer Center. It's right outside of the Wan Chai MTR station. There's 2 stores in there, both on the 2nd floor. The best one was called "New Task", I think it has a diff name now. You'll know it because theres Filcos, Realforces, and other gaming keyboards in the window and the shop is tiny. Shop owner doesn't speak a lot of English but you can haggle a bit.

There's also two places near the Shum Shui Po MTR station in the computer center there. Tokyo Computer Accessory and Cosmic. Tokyo had a lot of TThermaltake and Chinese products. Cosmic had a lot of Ducky and other gaming (Logitech, Razer, etc) stuff. I liked Cosmic more.

I'll warn you right now, Shum Shui Po gets REALLY crowded while Wan Chai barely gets any traffic. And I like the Wan Chai place more. And perhaps you can get some pictures because I didn't get any :(.

TL:DR, if you have to pick one place, go to the Wan Chai Computer Center, 2nd Floor, and visit New Task. That place is awesome. I've never seen a store like it. Cosmic is pretty good as well. And I didn't get to go to Keyboard Hell I don't think. I might have wandered in at the wrong time since the hours of the markets are weird.

That's great info, thanks.  It's actually only 40 minutes by walking and ferry from my hotel vs. 1 hour walking to keyboard hell.
I'm right across the water from Wan Chai Computer Center
