Do we have a rep from SP? I want a crap bag!
« on: Sun, 07 July 2013, 06:49:30 »
I know the website says July/August...but I was wondering if we have a rep here from signature plastics that could give us a more specific date. Thanks!

I don't particularly need it soon, but I'd like insider information so I can actually get my hands on one before they are all gone.

And numerous other threads where people tried to get rid of the crap, or get some more crap to complete a set.

Yes, some people managed to get a few very rare or unusual keycaps - but that was the exception.

The vast majority of keycaps were multiple, multiple copies of partial sets of white on black DS IIRC.

Oh, they'll sell.  Don't you worry about that.

Sold out quite quickly last time.

I was tempted, but the postage price to Australia for the relatively small chance of getting a few useful keycaps was too high, so I skipped it.

It was great when people got theirs though, someone posted a video of himself sorting the keycaps in real time - that was fun :)

Can anybody tell me the size of the package or even take a picture of the package that contained the caps from the sale? I have a friend of mine in the US that might be able to get one for me but only if the package is not too big :)

I wouldn't object if the bags were a tad smaller, so that postage to Australia was not so stupidly expensive.

Is there something more specific your looking for? If I get a couple bags I don't mind getting another and proxying just what you want out of one.

That is very generous :)

I was tempted last year, despite the shipping cost, but decided against it.  Having seen what some people got, I had no regrets in missing out.

Looking at what came out of last year's bags, most of the black/white double-shots are meh, but some of the novelty or unusual ones would be nice.
