Wow, thats going to boost sales, n-key rollover problem be damned. Although as far as I know J&R only has one brick and mortar outlet. Microcenter isnt a chain either, is it?  They need to get these boards into Best Buy and Staples. (Now that circuit city and comp usa have bit the dust).

Microcenter has one or two dozen stores across the country.  None here in Utah, unfortunately.  If only there were a Microcenter or Fry's within reasonable driving distance...

I don't think I've ever been in either store.  It would be nice to have one around though.

When I lived in Phoenix there were 2 Fry's Electronics stores. It was a great place to check out stuff. While the pricing was not so good, at least compared to newegg, you could physically get what you wanted without the wait.
I can remember more than once making an emergency drive to Fry's ... those were the days.

There's a Micro Center not too too far away from here... it's the place where I've gotten my hands on a Fujitsu U810, and decided it wasn't for me - partially because of the CPU, partially because of the keyboard. (The U820 is out now, and has a better keyboard, but it also has a higher resolution screen. Even I, with my resolution **** ways, might find it too much - 1280x800 @ 5.6".)

All we have here is a Best Buy, and that place is a membrane hell.

Goodwill usually has a selection of keyboards with something other than rubber domes... ;)

Do you guys who have good luck at Goodwill live in huge cities? I live in an area with a population of just under 100,000 and I've never seen a keyboard at Goodwill.

I live not too far from Newark, OH.  What Goodwills do you frequent?  Even at the one in the OSU campus area 99% of the keyboards are cheap crap.

The two in Newark (one on 21st St., across the street from Rally's, and the other on Union St.,) although I guess the selection has been getting worse over time, but there's usually at least one ancient Alps keyboard between the two even on the bad days...

Interestingly, I went to my closest Micro Center today, and they didn't even have a place for them. (But, they used to... interesting.)
