Long time PC gamer, first time Mechanical Keyboard user.
« on: Sat, 21 September 2013, 16:41:02 »
Hey there!

I'm Phedran. I just bought my first (trial) mechanical keyboard, and I'm already hooked. I record let's plays and other voice-over audio while gaming so I've been hesitant to take the plunge, and I'm leaning towards MX Browns or Topres. Picked up a Logitech G710+ locally to test it out and see what I think, probably going to return it but I've learned a lot about what I like and what I think I want out of my next keyboard. Of course, with all the temptation around here... looking like having just one is not going to be an option! Hope to pick up my first real keeper board soon (looking at you Leopold FC660C!), after that I guess we'll see how far the rabbit hole goes...

Welcome! From my experience (Filco w/ browns & a Realforce 104UW) Topre is far quieter than browns and they have a more prominent bump.
