Wood hand rest from hieutrunghandcrafts
« on: Tue, 01 October 2013, 02:24:58 »
I searched hieutrunghandcrafts here before creating this topic, but nothing turned up.

Have anyone looked at these?

http://www.hieutrunghandcrafts.com/product_kfs.html
http://www.hieutrunghandcrafts.com/m1_wrist_rest_spec.html

Or better yet, own one and can give a review?

Don't know how much shipping is but it looks very reasonably priced.

Thanks

Seems like a shady website. But the pricing of the wrist rests seem pretty god

Personally, I wouldn't call it shady. It looks like the guy just made a very basic website without much design to sell his wood products. Afterall, the site only started in 2013.
Never used his wrist rests though.

To me these ones look so much better.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

To me these ones look so much better.

I already sent the beast a PM before I found this website, but the beast won't be able to produce any wrist rest until January next year.

I don't mind paying for quality product but that's like half the price or even less so I might try it out.
