Varmilo VA108 and Teradici zero client devices
« on: Thu, 01 September 2016, 16:10:59 »
In the event that someone else might find this information useful, I can verify that the Varmilo VA108 keyboard works with the Teradici zero client device, but only via the USB connectors on the back, not the front.

This is an important detail because: a. The Varmilo VA108 features NKRO emulation that is on by default and can not be turned off, and which is incompatible with USB hubs and KVM switches (and Macintoshes), and b. The Teradici zero client interface has two "direct" USB ports in the back and a 4-port USB hub in the front.

The company I work for is trying to put everyone onto Teradicis, which threatened to make my Varmilo board useless. But I am glad to report that they do work, but only when connected to one of the two rear ports.
