CM Storm QuickFire Rapid's at £64.99
« on: Mon, 04 November 2013, 18:29:26 »
Falcon computers in Sunderland have these in store.
Just managed to score myself a new toy for Xmas, they seem to have lots of them and have reduced down to £64.99.

Just a heads up

Here is a direct link the their QFR

Part number seems to be the UK version, so I would expect it to be ISO, despite the image.

I think these are cherry MX blacks.

You poor, sad Europeans. 65 pounds for QFR and already called a 'great find', sigh. Am I right to say that the Labour welfare state is siphoning off lots of your money in taxes and tariffs?  ;D ;D ;D

QFRs, especially blacks, are worth like 50 shipped in the USA.

Everything is affected by supply and demand. They sold high volumes in US. That’s why the price is lowered. MX green version sold in the US is around the same price as their QFR with common switches for the same reason (mx green volume is tiny).

Don’t forget US also consume the most resources in the world (per capita) and produce the most wastes and pollution.

As much as we enjoy the low price of imported goods, I am not particularly proud of for the above reasons and am trying my best to go green whenever possible.
QFR brown x2, Realforce 45G, Type-S, Keycool 22 blue

Previous keyboards: 55G, IBM Model M, Dell AT101W, Fujitsu FKB4725, G80-3000 clear, QFS green, QFS blue

HA!

The Republican party will probably want you arrested and sent to Gitmo for Un-American activities.

Wasting the world's resources is what Americans do very well, hehheh. I remember reading that the US military is the world's biggest emitter of greenhouse gases.

Heh, hasn't been labour for years. LibCon these days, far better, but then I would say that as I work for one of the parties *heh*. The can't wait till we pull out of Europe.

Yep they are ISO and they have blacks and blues, but worryingly don't know that they are different. Most of the blacks are unbranded ones and the blues have the logo on top. Not my favourite layout but, I found it odd the the box shows the US layout and was supposed when I got it home that it was ISO.
