I don't know much about the cherry switches and if this is actually a good keyboard, but at $40, it's a great starter board into the world of mechanical switches. 

I'd love to hear from someone who has Cherry blues to tell me how good/bad a deal this really is.

Ahh dammit.    I searched everywhere but I guess I didn't look hard enough.  Just didn't want anyone to miss out on what looked like a good deal.
