Hello everyone!
« on: Thu, 21 November 2013, 15:27:39 »
Hi you all!

This is my first post in here. I have been reading conversations in here for few days now. I must say, this one of the most interesting forum in internet.

I joined massdrop GB to get ergodox fullhand edition keyboard today, hopefully I will get it before new year. It will be my first mechanical keyboard. I have used Microsoft Natural Ergonomics 4 years and have been drooling cherry mx switches at least 2 years.

I'am looking forward on tweeking my ergodox layout to have colemak whit ä and ö on main level. I'am Linux/BSD sysadmin and on the computer better half on my wake hours so I hope ergodox to make my life little bit nicer.

Thanks for the awesome forum! And sorry about my language, english is not my mothertongue. :)

Welcome aboard and your English is fine.  Ergodox would make a very nice first mech keyboard for you.  :)

Hey, what is up, I am also newer to this community and really like the forums and a lot of the members are really informative and friendly. I just wanted to say hello and I currently own a couple mechanical keyboards and don't think you could regret the choice you made. I have two different switches at the moment: cherry mx brown switches in a cooler master xt and blue switches in the cm rapid, bot I got on sale and figure I would try before putting money down on something that costs more. I loved the XT, it being the first mechanical keyboard I have used since a buckling spring, and the figure I would like a tenkeyless mechanical keyboard with a different switch, couldn't be happier with build quality for price. I would say they are the poorer man's filco, and would recommend them to anyone. So, please let me know how you like the keyboard you are getting and if it has cause to make you want to try more mechanical keyboards.-Travellerr
