Noppoo Keycaps
« on: Wed, 22 January 2014, 06:57:34 »
Hey guys, basically, I'm looking for some keycaps for the Noppoo choc mini, obviously I'm not going to get a new spacebar as that's near impossible, but I would like some keycaps for the other keys, below is an image that I found on the web that I somewhat like, I've highlighted in red what keys  I would like and if anyone can help me that'd be brilliant.

Thanks for any help.

Thanks for any help.

Based on other pictures related, I guess the keycaps came from WASD blank.

If you don't mind mixing POM and PBT on the same board, I would recommend a set each of the Banggood 84 or 87 key blank white PBT and blank black POM keycaps. They are Keycool caps, medium thickness, good quality, great price.
Buying more keycaps,
it really hacks my wallet,
but I must have them.

I'm in the UK you see, so obviously if I can get them sent from a place in England, that's always going to be better for me.

The only decent blanks that I've found so far, are these:

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=KB-103-DK&groupid=702&catid=2705&subcat=2455

or even these:

http://www.keyboardco.com/product/blank-black-filco-104-key-keyset-image.asp

as they're a little cheaper, but I'm not 100% on how the filco keycaps feel as they are really smooth (i've already got a filco here).

Those are all standard cherry profile keycaps.  You can just go through the vendor list here on GH.

Also if you wanna get more of a blank look just flip your spacebar (and flip the inserts).  No logo and your thumb will thank you for being ergonomic  :p

I think the Filco ones are ABS (someone please correct me if I'm wrong) and the Ducky ones are thin PBT, but apparently they have a nice texture.

Might just go with the Ducky ones then as I don't like the Filco ones at-all to be honest, I guess overtime I could get used them but the ones on the Noppoo at the moment already feel somewhat smooth and I do not want to increase that.

Thanks.

Both Filco and Ducky have OEM profile AFAIK.

Cherry keycaps are you best bet... blank black POM ones definitely do exist.
