Not sure why the label is the way it is... Refurbished?

Probably just a misprint. It is a little surprising that it made it out of the factory like that.

It looks to me like a "refurbished" label. It was definitely printed with a dot matrix printer. Not at all like the official Model M labels.

There are IBM labels that look just like that, even the fonts seems the same:

Only thing missing is the preprinted IBM logo etc. on the right.

Hmmm, so it is.

Zero feedback seller, though. :(

That's actually produced on the day of my birth. Would be cool to own. It even comes with a cable and keyboard layout.

Nice. Too bad that this particular one has the misprinted/faulty label, but it would be good to get if the price doesn't go too high. And if you ever found an upgrade, you could probably get your money back re-selling it.

A computer from my birth date would be more like this:

Ah, I assumed the picture E twenty posted was from the listing. Gotta learn to read stuff and not get distracted by pretty pictures. The one in the listing was not forged on the same glorious day I emerged victorious from my mothers womb . And even if it was, shipping to Norway would destroy it for me.
