Ebay.de - German Cherry DS
« on: Sat, 11 January 2014, 03:24:01 »
I have been on the hunt for German keyboards to try and create Swedish sets since they are quite similar. Since almost every seller on Ebay.de refuses international shipping, and it has become more difficult to find proxies, I will give it up and just post here whenever I find rather cheap boards.

G80-3000HAD, €1

G80-1501HAD, €1.5

G80-1501HAD, €1.5

Let me know if you buy any and whether or not you would ever consider selling them.

That would come up to be less than 0.01 Per switch if you dont include shipping/proxing costs

Aren't there any nice Germans around here? I think BlueBar sounded pretty nice.

Find it hard to believe German sellers won't send to Sweden. Isn't it next door?

It's very sad to see such lovely things for for so little.

Most of the modding can be done on your own once you break through the psychological barriers.

I can proxy. Also if anybody wants just keycaps and switches, I can disassemble them too.

One of them is getting proxied by me, went for 27,10€ (shipping not included). The G80-3000 is still available.

For the record, BlueBär was kind and helped me bid for me on the second one but I was outbid.

Kind of related since I've been looking for some old Cherry compatible typewriters on German eBay from time to time, but damn Germany, you weird sometimes:

Yeah I know that green is a kinda weird color but I think it's just that it was popular around that time.

Since it's not a KB, I just passed over it when I looked at the listing.

I live right next door and I have had quite some luck by just asking the seller for shipping to Holland in German.
