I need a black spacebar that is the right size for a Model M. I currently have one that will only fit on the Unicomp keyboards that have windows keys.

Two simple solutions.

1) buy from Unicomp.

2) get an old Model M spacebar and black dye. Boil for 5 minutes and that should be enough. Leave in pot if you feel like it; spacebar won't warp.

I love dying keycaps. Too bad I don't have a black one for you. But I have red, blue, green, yellow...

simple, just put out a request. Lots of people want one or two keys from Unicomp at any time and are just waiting for someone else to buy some keycaps to meet the Unicomp MOQ.
