LOL, not really (yet). I just shut the lid of the laptop and arch cleverly goes to sleep, or I quit X with mod4+shift+q (in xmonad)
It's a bit drastic and I probably want to look at a login manager.

I installed ff27 and tested pentadactyl with it. It works for me. Make sure you've installed the latest nightly build.

I'll try updating and report back.
Funnily chromium works smoothly for me but Firefox is super choppy for some reason.
I'm on a core 2 duo laptop with plenty of ram and an ssd. not sure what's wrong.

I originally used Ubuntu but switched to Arch Linux less than a year later. I tried running it on my HP laptop but I had issues with suspending (wouldn't wake up after closing the lid) so I mostly run windows on it. Reading all this makes me want to try setting it up again.

It's pretty sweet in a brutal sort of way .. like there's literally nothing there until you install it. so you have TOTAL CONTROL. NO CRUFT.
If that sort of thing appeals to you...
(it appeals to me)

I realize that. It really appeals to me which is why I have been using it on my desktop for a fee years. I just need to get it working on the laptop which is a little harder.
