Ergodox assembled by massdrop with stock clears and PBT caps.
In essentially brand new condition, used less than half an hour, the acrylic still has the protective sheet on it.
I've also got originative 55g "limited" and 62g springs so you can do an ergo clear mod if you want to.
I'm located in Texas.

I've had some people ask me via PM about trades.

I'd consider trades for a Matias mini (quiet or tactile) plus a reasonable amount of cash.

  • changing diapers is more fun than model f assembly
mind telling us why you don't want your ergodox? normally most people love PBT keycaps and clear switches.
Most of the modding can be done on your own once you break through the psychological barriers.

no chance you would want to trade for an IBM M15?

The thumb cluster spacing is just not right for me.  My coworkers are making fun of me for getting an expensive keyboard and then immediately deciding it's not right... but I figure that's better than putting a bunch of use on it before making the same decision anyway :)

PM sent, I'd consider trades for an M15.  Or any other split mechanical keyboard that I may not be thinking of at the moment
(I've tried kinesis advantage + freestyle, goldtouch, and wouldn't be interested in those)

Aren't clears normally already 55g? Says so at http://deskthority.net/wiki/Cherry_MX_Clear.

Still available.

I believe I have replied to all PMs regarding the ergodox.  If you're still waiting on hearing from me, please send me another message just in case.

  • I like tactile, clicky, switches.
How rough is the texture on the keycaps? Is it similar to Topre or IBM? Does it come with any tilting mechanism(s) or is one readily available for purchase? I haven't really kept up with these boards too much since I don't really have an interest in building my own.
SSKs for everyone!

Theres a closeup pic of the caps from signature plastics at https://www.massdrop.com/buy/ergodox-keycap?s=ergodox

I cant compare them to topre, since ive never used one (gasp), but i'd say theyre fairly rough, rougher than i remember ibm model m for instance.

edit - holding it pending payment of an offer
