Keycool version 2?

Hello! My keycool 84 version 1 is about 1.5 years old at kinda rubbish but still almost 100% functional. Any reason for me to upgrade to a version 2 keycool 84?

The space key feels weird and sometimes my "T" key doubletaps...

Maybe no need to  upgrade to a new one since it is still functional... Just replace the defective components. Save the cash for other models.. :))

Any reason? How about trying a different type of switch?

Otherwise yes, just replace the faulty switch, and try removing and replacing the space bar to see if that helps (maybe the stabiliser clips have become dislodged).

I wouldn't upgrade. I have one of their newer versions (84II) and the spacebar is very lackluster as well. I'd spend the money on other boards unless you really like the layout of the 75%.

Hey,

Well I am just a concerned 3rd party of how current esports keyboards are designed.

I really like the idea of easy accesible f1-f12 keys from a WASD position, making keycool 84 just a tiny bit better than KBT Race because of no diagonal positons and a small escape key. I like the quality of keycool 84 more than I like Noppoo.

The KBT race had a good "spamming" feature where I could hold down multiple keys and see them all repeated. I believe this is a virtual keyboard layout, and I heard I could design that myself but, im sorry but it is just to no bother.

I know that most keyboards market the casual area whom asks for the regular layouts, but it is seriously a huge problem for Starcraft 2 / broodwar players like myself that keys are spread out apart.

So with that being said, I do not like the 75%-84% layout, I just like the f1-f12 key placement.

I only need a driver, really, so I can remap keys legally in terms of tournament play. If anyone steps up to produce these keyboards that would be a dream coming true.
