White LED Keycaps
« on: Sun, 12 January 2014, 05:58:13 »
I am looking around for a set of white keycaps that work with an LED backlit keyboard (not translucent but so that the legends are illuminated), similar to the Ducky Shine white keycaps (I cannot find anywhere to actually buy these...)
If I could get hold of an entire set to fite a keycool 84 that would be perfect but simply the alphanumeric keys (including spacebar) are what I'm mainly looking for.

Thanks for any suggestions

Really? Is there no way of purchasing the white ducky shine keycaps (without buying the keyboard itself obviously)?

Awesome thanks, does anyone know how many of the keys from the Ducky Shine set will or will not fit a KC 84? ie. is there a keycap size guide for the keycool 84?

"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

I bought a set of these from MK.com recently and they are really nice. Is this what you're looking for?

Was actually surprised no one mentioned this earlier.

You can get a complete white set, if you can find someone willing to part with it.
