Ergodox NEED HELP
« on: Thu, 13 March 2014, 22:47:34 »
Hello everyone. I ordered an ergodox a long time ago and tried soldering it together. It is about 90% soldered and complete, but I am having trouble. I tried connecting via USB, but no light blinks. I looked around and concluded I made errors soldering the USB portion and I accidentally soldered LED near the TRSS. I am desperate for it to be complete and would not mind paying someone to finish this job. I will cover shipping and any reasonable assembly cost. If anyone is interested please PM me

EDIT: This community is so awesome! I will give it another go... Here are the pics. Anything feedback is much appreciated! Thanks everyone!

I just soldered one up today. Why don't you post pictures and we'll see if there's anything we can do to help?

Also, this forum isn't the appropriate one for offering to pay for services. That would be the classifieds forum, and you'll need at least 60 posts to make a thread in there.

While there are lots of people who can fix your ergodox for you, I think it's best to fix it yourself with our help. You'll save on shipping and learn more.

As daerid says, I recommend posting pictures. I've made many ergoDOXs and even repaired a few, but I think you are capable of completing it and fixing it!

Plus we want to see beautiful pictures of your handiwork.
