OK, nobody will get in your way when you go to buy this.
"However, even though I was born in the Mesozoic, I do know what anyone who wants to reach out to young people should say: Billionaires took your money. They took your chance to buy a home. They took your chance at a good education. They stole your opportunities. Billionaires took the things you want in life. If you really want those things, you have to take them back.
That's the message. That's the whole message. Say that every day, not just to reach America's frustrated young white men, but people of every age, race, and gender.
Late-stage capitalism is a wealth-concentration engine, focused on vacuuming up every dollar and putting it in as few hands as possible. Republicans are helping that vacuum suck.
How does a tiny fraction of the population get away with this? They do it by dividing the other 99% of Americans against themselves."

"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

*looks at price*

Wat.

I mean, it's a neat variant, but it's not a particularly rare one.  ClickyKeyboards has sold many of these, and at one point, I found four of these in the Physics Dept trash.

OMG, your physics department geeks threw out $8k of keyboards!  :p

These guys must be very well funded. By the Department of Defense, which funds $200 toilet paper?

I still have two of them, and one is the cleanest M I've ever seen that wasn't actually NIB.  I never though I'd own a $2k keyboard!  I should sit on them for a while longer, though, I'm sure they'll hit $4k/ea in the next year or so.  Prices are going up!  :p

When you list, don't forget, say that it was used as cushion for you (you did say you had been sitting on them)... might fetch higher bids as a result.

After all, I'm sure there are people who would pay thousands for anything Justin Bleiber or Miley Cyrus' asses touched.  :thumb:

For idiot sellers like that, if you can put up $1800, just buy it.

Then when it comes, take out your magnifying lens and 30-megapixel camera and ultraviolet light and go over it. Record every single micro-crack and speck of dirt.

File complaint with pp or cc company. Say that it isn't worth $1800. Remember, paying $1800 for 'good condition' means the condition has to be damn damn damn good, not 'thrift store good'.

You are guaranteed to win. Return it and laugh at seller.
