this thing is like, crazy bright. i used it for working on my car at night AND during the day (CRAZY BRIGHT), but it's also an _excellent_ bike headlamp, running and trail running lamp, climbing or caving, and basically any other situation where you need light that points in the direction you're looking at hands-free. selling because i thought i lost it (it was in my backpack :\), so i bought a petzl NAO to replace it.
the other cool thing about the RXP by the way, is that unlike most of the high lumen lamps these days, it runs on 3 AAs, and gets > 1hr of runtime at full bright that way. also has a built-in flip down diffuser lens that spreads the beam out (trail, biking-to-be-seen, etc.)
