Any cheap tenkey-less kbs with Cherry blues?
« on: Wed, 18 March 2009, 16:58:35 »
I'm looking for a tenkeyless, space-saver type keyboard with Cherry blue switches that is not $100+.

It seems odd that full-sized blue boards like the Scorpius M10 and the Cherry G80-3000 are $50-60, but I can't seem to find anything below, say, a Filco @ around $130, available.

Any ideas, folks?  I'm definitely willing to buy used if you have a board that meets this description to sell.

Filco would be the cheapest.
I have this one.
Its small but not actually tenkeyless

I have one with browns and one with blues.
G80 3000 cost me £60 and the board there cost £20.
So that was £80 for a blue space saver.

Filco will be your only option if you dont want to do a switch mod like I did.
Sorry.
Keyboards. Happy Hacking pro 2 x2. One white one black. IBM model M US layout. SGI silicone Graphics with rubber dampened ALPS. IBM model F. ALPS apple board, I forget what it is. And some more I forget what I have.

Typewriters. Olivetti Valentine. Imperial Good Companion Model T. Olympia SM3

Perhaps, you will want filco majestouch tenkeyless keyboard.

This keyboard has cherry MX switch.

However, this filco majestouch tenkeyless keyboard is the worst product.

This keyboard slips you more than 20 years ago at time, and pains you.

CrapTypist: G80-3000LSCRC-2 and a $2 Harbor Freight hacksaw.

Bam, $67 tenkeyless with blues.

(OK, you'll probably need a soldering iron, and some way of repairing the case. But I digress.)
