white ducky shine 3
« on: Fri, 25 April 2014, 23:43:16 »
not sure if you guys might be interested, but I found an all-white ducky shine 3 full sized keyboard (white case, keycaps, LED) . . .
just posting this here cause I didn't see any over at mechanicalkeyboards.com
I think they only offer the cherry mx red version (judging from the photos)

They look good. I don't know if I am too sure about them being NZXT branded, but they still look alright.
Can we get them to build the Alps ten feet higher and get Cherry to pay for it?

They're just special made to match some of the newer NZXT cases.  Still Ducky quality.  Just think of it as a special edition.

Of course, I tend to be an NZXT fanboy when it comes to cases...even if their newest case is ugly as sin.

That looks quite nice!

Seems I like white keyboard (he said, typed on his white HHKB).
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Mmm, I have an NZXT case as well, but I do think that some partnerships between companies just for the sake of it can be a bit pointless. My next build is going to be white, but I just have my KC for that :)

would've been insta buy if clear/brown, but I don't have any experience with red. I play diablo III/SC2 otherwise the keyboard would be mostly used for typing.

I feel like the code keyboard is the better choice in this pricerange. Maybe somebody can convince me otherwise :)

I would never use the left/right channels.  The way the cable would have to twist at the hub would leave me queasy.
