I'd pick the G502, better sensor and better software. And I also prefer that kind of shape, but that's a subjective opinion.

well that problem is solved lol. the two local stores that said they had the mlg on clearance do not actually have it. I figured the g502 had a better sensor and I do prefer a ergonomic right hander. sold. going to go get it right now. I always preferred Logitech anyways. software actually works as you said. stellar cs too. I have had every gaming mouse they have made so this shall continue the lineage. I just figured the mlg was a good deal for $60 but I guess the decision was made by default. I figure a good decision anyways.
thanks

well the g502 is great. feels even better than the g500s. I like that it is lower. very precise. much more so than the g500s. optical is better but I was waiting for a rodent with high dpi. here it is!

okay next day. the feel in hand and quality of the sensor is the best I have ever experienced. I thought the g500s was good. this is a different level of ergonomics and precision. to me this is easily better than a trackball. I have it on 5000dpi and can go across the whole 24" screen in an inch of movement. stopping on a dime.
sorry for hijacking my wn post. all I can say is I bet mickey would approve.
