I don't see a video here, but I came to show y'all this, and the threat title seems to have already been created, so here you go--Corsair Fully Programmable RGB Backlit Display Cherry MX (Red, Blue, Brown)

We need to get a Group Buy going on this!  ;-)

Finally, I can actually get a purple backlit mechanical keyboard.  Hope that other companies that use the tech soon, I'm not a fan of that keyboard design.

I think it might be patented...correct me if I'm wrong!

Wish they have a TKL version.

I'm sure cherry has a deal with them for a while, but eventually I think other companies will be able to get a slice of the action.

Now you can have a unicorn vomit board without changing the caps!

My eyes! The glare! Such pain! WOW!

Buying more keycaps,
it really hacks my wallet,
but I must have them.

There is a one year lead time from my understanding! Since Corsair got first dibs

Well, it's using a Panasonic sign display chip.  It shouldn't be that hard to copy into a TKL format... Did I hear someone say Phantom RGB?  Sadly, SP won't do translucent and opaque doubleshots, so it's dyesub or paint on for legends.

Really though, I don't want my keyboard flashing away at me while I'm working.  Sure, it would look cool on the wall as "art", but I like a nice simple low-key glow on my keys, just enough to see where the home row is in the dark.  After I get my fingers on the keys, I don't even bother looking at the keyboard anymore, so what's the point of disco keys?  ;-)  I might program it to go all DISCO after "no keystrokes for 1 minute" or something.  That could be fun.  :-D
