keyboard glue?
« on: Sat, 08 August 2009, 17:24:04 »
In taking apart my M2 keyboard to clean and repair it, I've broken several of the standing latches and the connector on the space bar key. I've tried regular crazy glue ( as they call it in the US ) to repair them, but it's not strong enough. Is there another product strong enough to put this plastic back together?

Sounds like a case for epoxy glue.
Hardware in signatures clutters Google search results. There should be a field in the profile for that (again).

This message was probably typed on a vintage G80-3000 with blues. Double-shots, baby. :D

I think you'll have to replace the spacebar key.  They break easily on the IBMs and there's not enough plastic to work with gluing.

Replace with one cannibalized from another unit? What's this metal spacebar key you're showing?
