hi. I'm way into my model f AT keyboard, but I mainly use my wireless apple keyboard because I love to compute lazily in bed. have to say, I've used a Macbook pro unibody for several years and have gotten used to the 65g scissor switches. Being an AT keyboard lover, I'd say that I'm a pretty heavy handed typist and I absolutely love pbt caps.. I am currently seeking an mx clear board to buy with a maximum budget of 175usd including shipping (don't need tenkeys or led backlights ). I love everything I've read about clears. the sound reminds me of playing with wooden blocks as a little one.
oh yeah, and I'm typing with this app called Fleksy Keys for android. epic class. even has clicky sound effects. but it may also explain the ocassional misspelled word, random completely wrong word , or how sentences don't begin with capital letters, etc. gotta exercise those thumbs.

Welcome to Geekhack!

You might take a look at the KUL ES-87 Tenkeyless Keyboard (Cherry MX Clear), noting that it has had some good reviews.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada
