This was the "cheap" mechanical KB you could get before they got so popular. I remember looking into them in 2007 - 2008.

If you look at the modifiers on the bottom row you'll notice they aren't all 1.25 units wide.

I believe this keyboard is made by iOne and is of lesser quality than many alternative keyboards (for example those made by costar are considered by many,m myself included, to be of higher quality.

Here is a good topic about it:

Still iOne, still likely cheap / flimsy. Notice they give outdated reliability specs for the switches they use. I wouldn't trust it on that reason alone, but I don't have one for any firsthand info.

Who knows? maybe it's good.

No you don't want that keyboard it is quite terrible. It may cost you a little more if you can't find a used one but if you want a board like that I would suggest you to go for a Cherry G80-186* model instead.
Cherry G80-11800 or 11900 may also be worth consideration for something similar if you don't mind it having a trackball or touchpad integrated. Those both often come up for bargain prices on ebay.

11900 was MX black only I believe. You can get the G80-186* that Ivan recommended in MX blue though.

I'm assuming the asterisk is a wildcard. I'm having trouble finding any info on the G80-186 series.

Correct assumption. Sadly my numbers were off. You can find more info on this series of KBs here:

also note:

Yes the * denotes that there is many different number but more or less the same thing. Different number have to do with what KRO it has and some model only come in one switch type. I think it's the 1867 that is available in all of blue/brown/clear/red/black currently, but only easily available in Korea/China region.

I'm not seeing anything on that page about mx blues and my searches are leading me to $100+ boards like the Cherry G80-1865 WNEU

EDIT: Ah, G80-1813 is one. Shame there aren't any currently for sale.
