Hellos!
« on: Sun, 12 October 2014, 23:34:50 »
Hey everyone,

I've made this account a while back after being a long time lurker, but I haven't bothered posting an intro or anything for that matter. So without further adieu, here were we go!

I live in Las Vegas, Nevada.
My current board is a Poker II with clears and Granite caps. My last board was a WASD v2 TKL with greens, engraved black caps and a aluminium space bar that I've been using for 6 months prior to the Poker. The rest of my collection includes two Quickfire Rapids, blue and green, and various novelty caps ranging from a pink gas mask to caps from keypop.

Hm....I don't have anything else to say to I'll just keep it at that. Haha
Anyways, looking forward to being part of and learning from this great community!  :)

Welcome to Geekhack!

Is the WASD still working?  Just retired in favour of the Poker?

Sounds like you know what you're doing, anyway :)
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

A poker 2 with clears and Granite sounds like you are already on your way to success!  :thumb:

I'm still getting used to the quoting system on here so I'll just reply to everything in one go. Haha

byker,
My WASD is still working and is retired by my poker.
However, for the week that I've owned my Poker (mine was from the second run), I've had times where I miss hearing the sound of clicky clicks from my greens so I've occasionally taken out my WASD and typed gibberish just to hear the clicks again. :))

rowdy,
No apologies needed. In fact, I've been looking into getting a pexon case and a custom cable for it someday. xD

You have a short and simple list of things you want - try to keep it that way ;)

There are so many nice things out there, and so little money to buy them.  At least you have a very good chance of acquiring those few things that you want.

For now.

Mwahahahahaha :DD

Those two words are what worries me.  :))
