Welcome to Geekhack!

Ducky is a good choice for a backlight keyboard as the build quality is superb!  I had a full-size Shine 2 with brown switches and white LEDs...I regret selling it but I just didn't use it often enough after I got a 60%.

Anyway, when you do get your board don't forget to post it in the Post your Duckies! thread. :thumb:

"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

YES! everything and more! the size is PERFECT to fit on my desk, its backlight it also perfect cause i do some of my school assignments at night because i work during the day after classes, i LOVE the modes it has for the lights. only ONE thing is i need to find a good plug n play numpad. mainly for playing garrys mod, perferably something with cherry blues also. i cant wait till i get my paycheck tuesday so i can order it. suspense is killing me. hopefully i can get lucky enough to get in on a bro cap sale but ill see. i hear they sell out in 30 - 40 mins. I WANT ONE! thnx for the welcome!

Bro Caps :D  Yes, they sell out quickly.  The best thing there is to start joining in on the sales, have patience, and eventually you will get one.  Perhaps you will be one of the lucky few who succeeds after joining your first sale!

Be careful with numpads - some of them don't emit numeric keypad key codes, they just emit the top conventional number row codes.  That still produces the digits on the screen, but might not work with games if you explicitly need numpad key codes.
