Anyone Near Atlanta? Mega Ebay Big 'Ol Pallet Of Apple Keyboards...

I just bought this big pallet of apple keyboards.

Paid $50 for it looking for apple mechanical keyboards to convert, I wonder whats in here? I see AEK AEKII and 0110a 0110, ect. what do you see here?






Should be fun to poke through this lot and see whats there.

I am just pondering if it is worth it to drive up to Atlanta, or pay the shipping charge and just have it delivered...

A road trip might be fun!

Looks like you can probably recoup that $50 + gas by harvesting all the mechanicals for yourself then selling the rest "as-is" on eBay for cheap.

lol, well I am hoping to do USB conversions on the mech boards and just toss the rest.
Hopefully the mega sale thread will actually be single artisan crafted mega sale thread lol.
I am talking with a member here who lives right nearby who is willing to toss the crap and box the good ones (minus his well deserved cut) and ship to me. That will save me the hassle of driving up there (7 hour drive) and save me some $$ on shipping.

Or at least thats what we have so far. I see there are a lot of other boards in there that are probably good, but are rubber-dome, but just looking at the pictures I can see at least 9 mech boards in there.

I went over there this morning.

It was a huge load of crap. Under what you saw on top, it was hundreds of those horrible transparent keyboards and mice.

Rawko knows exactly what things are worth and never gives anything away. The guys in the warehouse were not even surprised when I walked away from 95% of it.

About 2-3 years ago I went in and a young guy let me walk around and look for IBMs (he was with me the whole time, of course, and it looked like a manager frowned at him).

Since then, no, I have just gone to the front office. Today they opened the loading dock door so I suppose that I was "in" the warehouse by a few feet.

I think they over value some of their stuff also. I know some of those desko boards are not worth what they are trying to sell them for. Luckily I got some broken ones for salvaging at a good price

My experience has been that if something does not sell after a few days, they will accept an offer of perhaps 2/3 of their original asking price.

I might be interested in an M0110 depending on how much you want for it, however I am not near atlanta, I am in virginia an it would need to be shipped.
