KUL ES-87 + Leopold Keycaps = Finger Fatigue?

Hey guys, just a short post really.

I recently replaced the keycaps on my KUL with these: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/281377716241?_trksid=p2060778.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT which look absolutely fantastic by the way, but recently I've been noticing a few changes that I'm not all too happy with. The changes that I've noticed are as follows:

• Finger fatigue / finger strain is a lot more prominent than it used to be on this board (I have never had finger strain issues on MX Reds before)
• The keys feeling a lot heavier than normal or what I perceive to be normal in terms of MX Cherry Reds
• My accuracy has gone down in terms of typing along with my typing speed

I'm just wondering what could cause this and have you ever faced a similar situation and if so, what did you do to counter it? I guess the simple solution would be to go back to the old keycaps, use them for a few days and see if the problems persist, which I am more than willing to do, I would just like to see what you guys think of this situation first before I go ahead and do so and if you have had a similar situation to one like this in the past?

if they are a slightly different profile your wrist position might be slightly off causing fatigue?

you might also just be getting used to the profile shape,

other than that i can only imagine you are just getting used to it/it feels different, caps cant really make the switches heavier.

I just got these key caps on my WASD keyboard today. They are pretty good, but they are my first set of key caps ever, so I have no clue what to compare them to. I have not experienced any kind of fatigue yet.

They are not as textured as I imagined PBT would feel after reading all the descriptions by other people who are big fans of PBT. Hopefully they won't shine, or I would have wasted a ton of money when I can just get ABS.

Yeah man that might be one of the reasons as to why I'm feeling finger fatigue and what not, I'll just perservere and just see how it goes. I'm sure it's just a process of getting used to them a bit better and maybe adjusting my (as you said) wrist/typing position.

[/size][size=78%]What type of keycaps are they? POM? ABS? PBT? I know that ABS shine quite early on and that is one of the reason as to why I got rid of my ABS keycaps rather abruptly. PBT never shine or take an extremely long time to shine and POM have more of a glow than a shine, it's not something that is glaringly obvious if you look at the keys. At least not on my old Noppoo anyway, XD.[/size]
