Hello from Germany
« on: Fri, 28 November 2014, 11:48:35 »
hello there,

Micha(el), 27 from germany here and i'm a semi-professional CS:GO Player.

Two years ago i started my journey on mechanical Keyboards and since then i've been a silent reader in this forum,
now i finally registered to get some help.

My mechas so far:

Cherry G80 (Reds) > Sold
QPad MK-50 (Browns) > Died to coke
QPad MK-80 (Browns) > Moved to my gfs desk
Mionix Zybal 60 (Blacks) > Numpad Died to coffee

Right now im on a Func KB-460 (Blues) and these silk touch keycaps keep driving me insane, i tend to "handsweat" a bit more and these things feel horrible.
So im on a journey to find some nice keycaps with german layout :/

So far only managed to find wasdkeyboard with QWERTZ layout ~ hopefully i'm going to find some more while digging deeper onto in the forum

Cheers!

Hallo Michael,

bin ebenfalls auf der Suche nach Keycaps. In Deutschland hat man es diesbezüglich ja nicht so einfach ....
Viel Spaß im Forum.

Gruß Geroximo

Welcome to Geekhack!

Another German member!  At least you haven't got a Poker :p
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada
