Noppoo choc mini
« on: Fri, 28 November 2014, 18:48:16 »
Hello everyone!

I'm searching for a noppoo choc mini with laser engraved pom keycaps( the good kind, old version). The new version looks so bad imo. Everyone says that old version is better too. But its impossible to find a laser version so im thinking of buying a "new" noppoo and buy some keycaps for it. What do you guys say? Should i do it or new noppoo has other problems other than keycaps? I really like that layout. Maybe you guys know where to buy old one or u guys can suggest keycaps or a new keyboard.

I have been a die hard Noppoo Choc Mini fan for the past two years and in the end? I had just had enough. I bought 3 Choc mini's all of them had their issues, one broke completely, one had chattering issues and so on. You will NOT find the old version anywhere unless you buy it from someone who actually has that old version lying around, you wont be able to buy it from a vendor. Finding the keycaps for choc mini may be difficult also, as I'm pretty sure the user of said keyboard would just rather sell the whole keyboard or whatever.

I switched to a KUL ES-87 and I don't really like it, the keyboard is perfect in pretty much every way, but I just don't know like how it feels in comparison to the Noppoo Choc Mini and TKL's are just too big for me, plain and simple.

If I were you, I'd just buy the new version and 'try' and get used to it mate, good luck.

I have an old-style MX Brown one that is 100% working and I would say in excellent condition that I have thought about selling. <SNIP>

I'd buy that just for the keycaps to be honest, hit me up if you're ever in the market to trade. I'd definitely be interested.
