My Rigorous QC Tester
« on: Fri, 26 December 2014, 10:11:30 »
All of my restorations are put through this very rigorous & demanding test:

(Non embedded link for those of you on Chrome and Firefox: http://youtu.be/0gKkr4_mClE)

If they don't pass the clicky-clacky test, then she won't approve them.

Rest assured that each and every board I make has passed the Éowyn test.
If she is happy with it, then I am sure you will be too.

Not sure what's happened to this forum lately. It's gone HTTPS, so this breaks YouTube embedding (since SMF only accepts non-HTTPS YouTube URLs).

I'm guessing that's what's in Ezra's post, as I get a big empty gap. If I hit Quote for his, I just get a bar that reads "Loading...". Clicking Reply then Insert quote for his post does nothing. I can't even read off the BBCode.

Yep, Inspect Element shows a YouTube non-HTTPS iframe.

I guess everyone else is using less-strict browsers. I still remember when Google broke whole-site translation due to some sort of frame security policy that Chrome completely ignored, but Internet Explorer and Firefox both obeyed; it got tangled up over HTTP/HTTPS and reverting the URL bar back to HTTP worked. That's fixed now, though, but this forum still needs a fix for only accepting HTTP YouTube URLs and then subsequently blocking them.

I can't see embed videos on chrome and firefox , I think it's the forum that's broke .
