It's not really worth more than $50-60 since it's serial and based on some past sales.  Could be a fund conversion project for someone.

While decent looking I don't think I could get used to the layout?

The layout could be modded (I think) to be more like ansi.  With that being said a lot of people use these for parts boards.  I doubt I will get this as I don't like ebay, but I am in the market for one.  I think the keyboards have some charm to them.  Also I want the solenoid from it :D.

Planning on putting the solenoid in your F 107? I have a solenoid I am going to try that with, but I haven't gotten around to seeing if it will actually fit without modifying the case. I'm sure space can be made if needed, so will cross that bridge when I come to it.  Need to get a solenoid driver first though.

Xwhatsit has made a solenoid driver for these as well.

thats my plan.   I only am taking an educated guess as I have never seen a solenoid irl but I think it will fit.

It happens, but more usually in the last 5 seconds :(
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada
