This is one gadget that I'm REALLY hoping some of you guys can buy. CPTbadass, JDCarpe or someone, pls buy it and do THE GEEKHACK THING (aka void the warranty if it still exists).

It looks awesome.

It is wireless and metal casing.

It is tiny and MX compatible (at least that's what a Reddit review said - yellow linear kailh).

No weirdly sized cursor keys unlike the KBT Race.

Some kind of interesting touch-sensitive strip at the top of the keyboard acts as the function keys ie function/ media keys are not mechanical.

Not enough info online currently when I google. So somebody's gotta do it!

(btw on checking I found that Walmart once stocked it at a low price, and that the Amazon price is only slightly higher than the ebay, so no point bidding on ebay. It doesn't seem that popular so I'm guessing it must have some quality problems, but surely if it's kailh then turning this into Cherry MX is a day's play for most ghers?)
Most of the modding can be done on your own once you break through the psychological barriers.

I saw a teardown on some site, but I can't seem to find it...
One odd thing is you can't pull off the keycap unless you take the top bezel off, the keycaps have little skirts which prevent them being removed otherwise. I would also assume it will make it noisier when they top out and smack the bottom of the top plate.

It's a shame they didn't make it more like their E6700, with a trakpad and bluetooth... could have made an awesome htpc board.

I'd love to know more about this board, since it can be had here (Switzerland) for just 75 swiss francs (about 70 us$) and with the swiss layout !

I'll try to find it but there was a teardown done over at reddit soon after this thing came out. It was on sale at Walmart for like $40 as well.

*edit* that took me a lot less time than i thought it would.
