Hello, my name is not nakedninja and I like to do lots of things, including type on good keyboards.
I found this board through google, which is this massive time sink on the internet - I don't know if you've heard of it - and I've been looking round a bit. I don't understand a lot of the specialist terms you guys are using, like LOL and cherry mx blue keycaps FTW, but I think there is a distance learning course I can take to come up to speed.

Do you have a mech board right now? If there's any lingo you don't understand it's perfectly okay to ask! we have a, "simple questions, simple answers" thread somewhere that i'd link but my daughter is sitting on my lap making things very difficult so i'll do it later if you'd like it =)

I'm looking at buying a 60% mech board, either a Poker II or the V60 from KBParadise which is currently on massdrop for another day.

At work I'm using the majestic Cherry ML4100 USB, oh yeah baby.

I think I must apologise.

I do understand LOL, it was a poor attempt at humour from a sleep deprived brain. Putting the words 'specialist terms' next to LOL, a phrase even my fictional cat understands, was meant to provoke a wry smile, not so much kindness. It seems the people of geekhack are far nicer than on other internet forums I've visited.

The Poker II btw is a fantastic keyboard!  At least I assume it is - nearly half the new members have already got one, and there are many threads here dedicated to it!
