Okay... So I have noticed this with Zeal's cable on my DS3, on boot, keyboard won't be on, not all the time though. Which will load into ubuntu instead of windows. Restart, it's working.
Just now, cat unplugged it, and I plugged it back in, zip. Windows made the sound that a device was unplugged. Waited a few minutes.... Nada.
Cable that I'm using now is the one that came with my DS3.
