Hi!
« on: Sat, 24 January 2015, 15:53:27 »
Hi geekhack!

I'm excited to join up, I got a WASD V2 with blues last august and dabbled in buying some novelties from pmk, and I always see interesting group buys around here so I figured I should join up! I'm looking to get a Poker II or Ducky Mini soon (with browns) to carry around but they're hard to find so that's gonna take a bit I'm sure. See you guys around!

Hey man! You should check out massdrop.com. There have been many group buys for both Ducky and Poker 2's. Happy Hunting!

Yeah! I've been there and I have an account but unfortunately they're not running any so I voted for all 3 of the past runs. By the looks of it though, 1800 people have requested the one and they're supposed to ask after 200 so I don't know if that's happening again soon. :l

Welcome to Geekhack!

Don't say you've got money burning a hole in your pocket around here :p

Btw qtan seems to have some Pokers in stock: http://www.vendio.com/stores/E-sports-Gaming-equipments/category/cateogry1-name/catId=3982940
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada
