Amazon Prime 3-5 day?

A bunch of items on Amazon that are normally 2 day Prime, are now showing "3-5 day Prime."



Never seen this before. Not good. Anyone know what this is about?

Likely an outside vendor that doesn't ship from one off their warehouses.  I know if it's Amazon or someone who ships from their warehouse, that option usually gives you money to spend on videos, books, or other e-goods.

if not, this is lame. them also doing away with a set next day shipping price sucks.

prime only ships from their warehouses IIRC. whether it's something amazon sells or if it's fulfillment.

I Googled it and there are discussions of "3-5 day Prime" going back to at least 2012. So that gives me hope it's temporary or a fluke, rather than a new development.

I do not think they would be brazen enough to institute this change without an announcement; still, disturbing

Some items are not available for Two-Day Shipping due to special shipping characteristics and instead will receive free standard shipping, which delivers in 3-5 business days.

then they shouldn't advertise it as prime >.>

So wait, your normal Amazon prime is 2 days? I guess that's what you get with a country so wide.

It's terrible that we have to live in a world with 3 to 5 day shipping instead of two-day, and flights that take us across the country in three hours, but are delayed for a half-hour.  Real shame.

Amazon is hurting from Prime. They actually lose money if you buy enough(i know the amount for my family is enough) which is why they had to raise the price of Prime. Im actually not sure how much longer prime will exist -_-.
